Truth (and illusions) about efficiency, profitability and competitiveness
3rd & 4th October, 2019
Efficiency and effectiveness has always been an essential driver for change and mostly builds the foundation in our development-related decision-making. Not seldom this involves heavy investments and significant risk. But what is efficiency, really? Does our search for increased efficiency really lead to what we primarily depend on, namely competitiveness? What is profitable and what defines a “strong business-case”?
– What at first sight may seem so simple to define can actually mislead us into false conclusions and disadvantageous decisions!
Based on typical and challenging questions and debates from his every-day agenda Peter aims to share his thoughtful perspectives on the subject. As listener, you will, hopefully, leave this seminar enlightened with a broader perspective of how improved efficiency, profitability and competitiveness may be defined!

The fundamentals to get inventory control performing as expected are Method, People and Process! To meet increasingly complex supply chain environments, the trend during the last decades has been to develop sophisticated statistical software to optimize stock levels. These systems put pressure on people to understand the used methods and require high theoretical competence. The gap between advanced mathematics and peoples understanding lead to the actual performance being far from the theoretical targets.
MYSIGMA has for many years developed and worked with alternative methods that easily are explained and understood. We call it transaction-based inventory control and instead of creating a “sophisticated push calculator” we simplify and use well-known pull theory (Kanban).
Can these methods compete with sophisticated big data models? Yes they can, and now we have proof!
The Fresh Connection – The ultimate value chain experience
3rd & 4th October, 2019
A high-performing supply chain needs the collaboration of team members from across the organization. Many times the different business functions, for example production and sales, have different focus and targets. Tearing down silos and creating the right cross-functional mindset can be a serious challenge.
We will introduce you to a cross functional business simulation where the effect of the functional decisions are simulated in the P&L and Balance sheet.
The Fresh Connection delivers a great value chain learning experience. Experience the power of true alignment and a well articulated supply chain strategy, supported by tactical skills and knowledge.

The mechanization of the craftmanship made it possible to significantly lower production cost already in the 19th century. Historically the biggest contribution to the customer value provided has been the product itself.
Focus is rapidly changing from products to services this will affect how we develop, produce and bring our products / services to market
In this seminar Zenit Design and MYSIGMA will take you on a customer journey, a way of working to address and describe relevant attributes and to better understand your customers behavior and needs.
